Falcon III Fixed Site Decontamination System

The Falcon III is a large-scale compressed air foam (CAF) trailer system capable of dispersing standard fire suppression foams, hazmat foams and chemical warfare decontamination foams. The powerful 1,030 gallon (3900L) Falcon III features multiple dispersal options for application of either foams or liquids. The dispersal options include an on-board 100 foot (30m) hose reel for up to 100 foot (30m) stream projection, and a trailer-mounted spray bar for uniform ground coverage.

The optional truck configuration allows a third dispersal option. A truck mounted deck gun enables the user to project sustained amounts of liquid or foam without user fatigue. The truck-mounted cage and monitor may be configured to work with most existing vehicles. The Falcon FSDS, or Falcon III, is designed with full drafting capabilities for rapid self-refill of formulas from totes or other bulk storage containers.

The patented multiple tank CAF system was designed specifically for use with Sandia National Laboratory's DF-200, although it can be configured to work with other decontamination formulas as needed. the system effectively deploys decontamination formulations as either liquid, air aspirated foam, or compressed air foam.

When used as a decontamination system, the Falcon III allows the user to effectively apply decontaminant for interior and exterior building applications as well as contaminated ground and pavement, equipment or vehicles. When tested with DF-200, foam expansion ratios extended from 1:1 to 25:1, producing over 25,000 gallons (94.6 kl) of finished foam per tank of formula. Specially designed nozzle wands lend flexibility to the system providing fast and easy undercariage decontamination.
